At MacChap, we believe that our Christian faith should be a daily, living, reaching faith that serves God and others. Our ministries seek to show God’s love to each other, our community and our world, and to provide members of our church with the opportunity to use their gifts for God’s glory.
As we seek to be a fellowship of faith we hope that each person at Macquarie Chapel Presbyterian Church will be involved in serving each other by having a regular commitment to:
- Reading the Bible and praying
- Attending Sunday services
- Being involved in a small group or other group in the church
- Giving generously to the Lord’s work with a significant emphasis being giving to our local church.
From time to time there are specific opportunities to serve. For example, we are often looking for more people to be trained to lead in our MacKids, J-Mac and YMAC ministries or to be involved in the music or tech ministry on a Sunday. We usually advertise these in our SERVE board. If you have more time on your hands and want to volunteer more time to help in our weekly ministries or administration let us know!
