MacKids is held every Sunday morning of term time for toddlers, pre-schoolers & primary school aged children during the 10.30am service. Everyone starts in church to begin worship together, then go out to their various groups. It is a time of fun, belonging and learning about our Great Big God. All children are welcome.
We give thanks to God that we have wonderful volunteer leaders in MacKids who are willing to bring their time and talents to enrich the lives of our children at MacChap. Many of our youth are involved in leading and we also have parent volunteers.
All adult leaders involved in MacKids have a current Working With Children Check and complete our Presbyterian Church denominational Child Protection training – (Breaking the Silence) and are registered with the Conduct Protocol Unit of the NSW Presbyterian Church.
Please remember to pray for our MacKids leaders and young helpers, that God would bless them through their ministry to our children, and that He will use them mightily to communicate the wonders of our great God and His son Jesus!
Scripture Teaching
Each week of school term we have some wonderful volunteers from MacChap who teach scripture in Denistone East Primary School. We also have some volunteers who help us from other churches.
